Uniting the Genders in the Fight Against Rape Culture
We are extremely excited to host Alice Sebold author of “Lucky”(1999), “The Lovely Bones” (2002), and “The Almost Moon” (2007) for her talk on “We Move As a Group: Uniting the Genders in the Fight Against Rape Culture.” Sebold will speak to the idea that it is not just the victims of sexual assault that suffer in a world where sex crimes are increasingly commonplace but all of us. Though not shying away from the grim realities of the present, Sebold’s goal is
to provide hope by working to dismantle the antiquated and
destructive divisions that still exist among us and to inspire a
more open dialogue.
A book signing will follow her talk.
While this event is free and open to the public, an RSVP is required. RSVP online at MiamiOH.edu/Regionals/RSVP.
