Community Action Partnership, Dayton – Monthly Advocacy and Education Meeting
The purpose of Community Action Partnership is to serve those most in need, while calling for justice in the community. We encourage our community partners, board members, staff, volunteers and others to join us in the work of advocacy to benefit people in need and create lasting change.
Community Action Partnership staff work with state and local lawmakers, and other nonprofit organizations to advocate for the needs of those living in poverty. Individuals engage in monthly meetings, advocacy efforts, get involved in local, state and national issues affecting low-income people and serve on other boards/committees to bring about community change.
Monthly meetings of the Advocacy and Education Committee are free and open to the public and are held the third Wednesday of each month.
